I really like this song from Cabrera… He speaks of a man who has hurt his woman, his “baby”, and is hoping for a chance… A chance to show her how he can be the man that he is on the inside, and not the tainted man he appears to be to her at the moment amidst all the hurt that he’s caused her… He wants her to have faith in him… Faith that he will stay true to her with the promise that he’ll always be her man… He doesn’t want to just “love then lose”… But… He’s not pushing for that… Not yet… He is aware that she needs time to heal - time to cry and let her tears fall like rain… That’s what this song is about…

Cabrera really makes it sound so simple… He says that tears help people to heal from whatever pain they’re goin through… Whatever hardship they’re enduring… And the tears washes it all away just like the rain does… To a certain extent, I believe so… Crying does do wonders, you know… Really… Cry all you want when you’re hurting but don’t stop there… Be sure to come out stronger than before… Dry your eyes, wipe away your tears, and stare the world in the face… After the rain, rainbows appear… Yours will… Mine did…
